OVER 93 CARE PACKAGES SENT
On Saturday, November 21, FREEDOM FRONTLINE packed and sent 93 CARE packages to our military in Afghanistan, Iraq, Kuwait, on board ship and in "undisclosed" locations. The packages contained food items, snacks and hygiene products commonly requested by our troops abroad. Cards of support and letters/drawings from school children were included in the boxes. Thanks to all who dropped off items for the packages and to those who helped pack the boxes. Thanks also to Ursula and Dieter Kuster who provided the use of their warehouse at CA BOTANA for the collection and packing event. Those who might want to continue to support our troops can go on-line to Any Soldier.com, click on 'where to send' and request an address from the list of names provided. Our troops love to hear from us and know that we support them.
FREEDOM FRONTLINE also collected $1900 in gift cards plus a $100 restaurant gift certificate which were presented to the Armed Services YMCA at Camp Pendleton. The gift cards will be used for the Secret SANTA wish list program which is open for (E4 and below) military families who need financial assistance with holiday purchases of food and toys. Thanks to all members/contributors for your kind generosity in supporting this effort. Those who would like more information about this program may contact Suzanne Tabrum, Director of Events and Community Relations, firstname.lastname@example.org
